Clinched it, bye bye reco's

Not even in my wildest dreams wud i h've thought of getting the admission, that too so easily. It may be my luck or the college's mistake!!! Anyway let me continue my floodings as though the tsunami is not leaving me. After submitting the appl form, my father had to request his friend to help me procure my seat in SASTRA. By any means i had to support.That gentleman contacted his friend in Cochin to make a request to his friend. We had to wait more than a day to see him. We then went to Thanjavur to my university, i saw it and was not so impressed by the presence but was impressed with the infrastructure. Then we came to know that they were to announce the admission list that day. What luck! We sprang into action, met the chairman and asked him whether i'm eligible for a CSE Seat. But, as luck wud have it, he told me that my seat is confirmed, thanks to my twelveth std marks. Oh! Oh! wat to do now? be happy or to look sad. wasted a lot of time without considering my WORTH!! and Here they say i 'm worthy of a seat with my good marks. Any way, i was rejoiced to the brim for having won the seat by my shear ability. Thank god and thank u dad for straining his energy for me!! Bye for Now.

My thunder step - ought to be my first owl post

Usually all start blogging with their own purana. let me give u slight twitch to it.let me start with my induction to this great college of mine, sorry to call it a college - its a univ proclaimed as SASTRA. Try finding out the full form. I'll post it in the next one. That was a nerve wrecking experience. Me with a rank of 2250 in Kerala Engg Entrance found hard to get into the top 3 colleges there (the rest dont have a great infrastructure). i got offers from REC Jalandar (punjab) and Silchar (Assam), but my sweet mom didnt want me to so away from her. I didnt want to stay in kerala. So help came from my uncle to join SASTRA. I remember the way we submitted the appl form on the last day. got the call from uncle that the last date is only 2 days away. called my dad's friend near the college, got the form the next day, asked our driver to go and submit it personally the next day. Never b4 i thought, me and a seat for me in SASTRA!!! my next post will contain how i clinched the seat out of thin air!!!
